Started training officially on Tuesday.
It was a 3-day thing but I already learnt a lot from it. Got quite a bit of role-play, which served to perk me up pretty much. Haha after all, I haven't been waking up at 6.30am every morning during the holidays! But yeah, learnt a lot about the products too. Feel much better after the training really. Because can feel that they don't just throw us to die. HAHA. Really guide us step by step. PHEW.
But anyway, I still got a long long way to go. Colleagues are predicting that we'll have to wait for 3 months for the license to come, instead of the 1 month that I thought. WELL. Maybe it's a good thing too, more time to train up first before starting the real thing!
But that means Eileen is going to be broke for the next 4 months at least! Haha.
Oh last night was uber fun! Thanks to Jb, I went to F.I.R. concert, FOC! Haha, super shiok. Quite shuang to have a friend in the media industry. Eh, if got Jam's concert, don't forget me hor! HAHA.
The opening was quite nice, just that we a bit 慢热 lar. Faye is super pretty, Ah Qin is super shuai! Jian Ning lao shi, er, also not bad. YEah. HAHA. Anyway, Faye and Ah Qin really impressed me for the night! Faye is super power lar! Last time I watch her sing on tv, I thought it wasn't fantastic. But she really sounded good 现场! For the entire night, I didn't feel her voice going, even though she sang like a million POWER songs, except for the time she was crying. Ah qin also lar! I never liked his singing last time but he honestly shoocked me last night! Will get goosebumps one sia. Somemore he play the piano look so shuai lar, haha Jb almost fainted on the spot I think.
Yeah, but I really think Jian Ning lao shi a bit extra lehz, haha especially when Faye and Ah Qin are singing duets together. Then got one part, I thought I saw him waving something throughout the song, don't know got what use also. Think he shouldn't stand on the left, where the live band is lar. Makes him look like he's one of them and not part of the 主角. But wells.
Somewhere in the middle, it got a bit more boring, because they were singing songs that I don't know of. Faye was singing 'We will rock you' halfway THEN SUDDENLY! I heard a very familiar guy voice! Jam Hsiao appeared!!! Haha I nudged Jb at the side immediately but she and her friend, Wanqing, took a bit long to realise he's there. But, anyway, I became super high le. HAHA. Faye actually commented that his screams seemed to be more than theirs. He was super cute lar, keep drinking water. After all the performances I've seen of other artistes right, as in on Youtube or whatever, he seems to be the one who ALWAYS needs to drink water. Like super often. Anyway, he sang two of his own songs, 收藏 and 王子的新衣. A bit disappointed that he didn't sing 原谅我 but okay lar, the two songs were very shocking still! How he reach those notes lar...siaos~~~~
So thanks to Jingteng, I became much more high. After that, when FIR was singing 第一天 and Get High, most of the audience were standing and jumping le! So we did too~! SUPER SHIOK~ haha. Proves the point that 第一天 really can 炒热气氛, which is why me and mh always like to sing it in Kbox! HAHA.
Concert ended at about 11. Went for dinner and chit-chat session along Kallang River with the girls. Okay I was the oldest there so a bit bhb to join them, but they're really super cute. HAHA. Two of them kept singing Jam's songs along the way. One of them has the same nickname as me! I think mixing with them makes me feel younger ar or maybe it's just the comparison between the office ppl and them. Haha can't expect to find 20 year olds in office mahz. I think I'm the youngest already. Wells.
Hearing them talk about their work scares me a bit. One of them even typed resignation letter le! After one month plus only! Quite scary. But in a way, I feel more assured that I didn't choose a job that is safe but of no interest to me. Maybe they're interested in what they do, but I just feel if I did something I don't like, I'll probably be worse off than them. And that thought is, OHMYGOSH, freaky.
Anyway, this is to jb. I know what you mean by wanting to stay in the job for that one year you promised yourself to. And I know you're not one to give up easily. I hope for you if you are staying on, that this is a transition phase and things will get better. But I really wish for you to be happy too, don't exactly want that cheerful jb to turn into a cynical one. Maybe it isn't that bad, maybe there are good things in that job that you like but just that you didn't have time to tell me last night. Whatever it is, I will always be there if you need someone to vent your frustrations on or just pour your troubles to. Really hope you remember to stay the way you used to be, the happy girl who always manages to make another person's day a brighter one. Pray for the best for you! Jiayou girl! =P And don't forget to take care of yourself yeah, not worth ruining your health because of this. =)
Anyway, I woke up in shock today because:
I realised I slept with my contact lens! =S
Ohmygosh, I don't understand how I could have forgotten yesterday because I remember feeling uncomfortable with it. No wonder I was thinking how come I'll wake up so early today. Automatically okay. At 830am when I slept at 3 last night. Now my eyes feel a bit tired, not sure if it's because I didn't sleep enough or because of the lens. Anyway, yeah, it was my first time sleeping with contacts, usually I'm very careful with my eyes! Scary sia. So yeah, time to give my eyes a break! No contacts for two days girl!
Anyway, heard the Olympics opening yesterday was really nice! Missed it because I was at the concert but I told my brother to help me record it. Apparently it's not recorded fully because it went past the time stipulated? Anyways, shall watch it later.
