Christmas is over!! =)
But, this year's christmas not merry lehz. Haha, because we had to have fyp meeting yesterday. Bah, so spoiler. Haha, ok lar, I don't exactly celebrate christmas, just usually slack around or go out for the day. Hehe.
christmas eve was fun though! No party, but a fulfilling shopping trip at novena square! It's pretty nice to shop there! A lot of shops there, plus they're those we love. Hehe, especially those selling Korean stuff, like Skinfood, FaceShop and a lot of Korean apparel shops!
We even tried Korean rice cake with chilli paste, ok they're probably not the same as those in Korea, but it's the first time i tried! It's ermz, VERY SPICy. Haha, and I bet Korea's one is worse. Mh and I were desperate for drinks and we didn't finish the rice cake in the end. OOPS. =X. And I finally bought my slippers! Cheap and nice! Haha, no wonder Cleo tells me this:
'Before you turn to retail therapy, try cheaper outlets and you'll see you can have pleasure without the big spending.'
Haha, it's pretty true! We found shops that sell other cheap stuff like squirt bottles, accessories too. Hehe.
So I bought quite a lot of things:
slippers,
shoe accessories (They're pretty! But now, I feel a bit heart pain because they're quite expensive, but anyway they're cool! Now I can decorate my plain shoes!)
2 little miss shirts
1 pretty mirror
1 packet of tapioca snacks (HAHA. SIN. =X)
And I tried a pair of shoes that was really nice!!! But it costs $55 (or something like that). =S Also tried another slipper that was nice too, but I decided one was enough. Hehe.
We also tried:
Skinfood's BB cream (WAH! GOOD! I hope Esther can bring them over for me. Hehe.)
O2 Skin's Eyeshadow (The eyeshadows there are really quite nice! Tempted..I was trying to decide so walked around first and by the time I walk finish the shop closed le, Haha Heaven's will or what)
02 Skin's Lip gloss (Mh was looking for lip gloss but honestly we were quite apprehensive about o2 skin's products so we happily walked past the gloss section initially. Until we tried the eyeshadow.So after trying that, we went back to the gloss section to try..really not bad!)
Bodyshop's scrub and body lotion (I forgot the names, but the lotion was really good. In consideration to solve my scaly-legs problem. POST-XMAS SALES PLS!! Haha.)
Best part was:
THERE WAS NO CROWD!!! I could imagine how crowded it would be at AMK Hub or Woodlands or town. So we ruled all that out. And we were rewarded with a comfortable shopping experience!
So you see, to sum up, it was a pleasant surprise shopping at novena. I haven't been there to shop since the new building came up, Haha, ok a bit lag. Or rather I was there before but that wasn't an appropriate time to shop. We REALLY thought we just go to novena square to:
1) try out Skinfood's BB cream (because it's the nearest branch)
2) to avoid the crowds in town.
And we achieved those two PLUS LOTS MORE. Haha, so yeah, now you know why I say it was fulfilling to shop there...
So Christmas eve was spent shopping and slacking and disturbing my brother and watching er zuo ju er wen. FUN! =)
Hehe, and ij clique had our Christmas gathering at Bern's new house this year. Hey girl, you really don't stay at Africa! I take back my words! Punggol's not as ulu as I thought, because it's a mere 20 minutes bus journey from Woodlands Interchange. Actually, come to think of it, you're in North East, I'm in the North..of course near right? Why didn't I think of it earlier? HAHA.
Anyway, attendance was rather low this year, because Zhen and Jb are both overseas, and mh and sp cannot make it. So only left with 5 of us at steamboat. Somemore I came late, because I had another family steamboat before that.
But it's ok! We still got into the festive mood with the camera-whoring and christmas hats!!
And while exchanging gifts, we played peepers with Bern's soft toy. HAHA.
And again, I got Shan's present while she got mine. I think we're gonna keep getting each other's presents so girl ar, how about we go shopping together for each other's present in future? Heck the rest lar. LOL!
Haiz, but Geri and EK couldn't stay over, so it's left with three of us only. We talked rubbish, played with masks, watched 'Over the Hedge' (hilarious!) and half of '881' (before I fell asleep).

Don't blame me for waking up later lar...Her 'pretty little couch' is really comfortable..
Haha, why is there only Bern and me? Because smart Lishan woke up earlier to take pictures of us, but we couldn't take hers! Damn! Next time it's your turn Shan! LOL.
Bern's house is so pretty. I'm so jealous!!! So meng huan...I love the purple in her room..
