so, exams have ended (pretty long ago). exams this time were honestly rather relaxing, like how stressful can 2 papers get right..now i just pray tht the results turn out ok.
well, just registered for subjects this morn. finally got derivatives. still remember how i was complaining last sem when i didn't get it. even my two colleagues in boc were complaining with me too, saying its stupid tht students cannot get such an important module. yup even my manager says derivatives is impt. so yup, im really glad i got it this time round! haha at least.......i won't be doing capm and dcf mtd and bond valuation anymore..lol. i think i had an overdose aft taking two (intense) mods regarding them. and not counting the core modules..
so now, let's just see what i'll get for my GE..hope its either corp lending or financial modelling.. -prays-
exams are over yes. but holiday mood is still weighed down with the thought of the very important fyp. tried to do some research..but man can it get more boring..nothing useful seems to come up no matter how many times i searched the keywords and how many different combinations i type the keywords with. when i finally see something that is more encouraging, it turns out to be something similar to what i've read before. ahhh, how i hate research. can't somebody give me a machine that can perform all these searches for me? and a machine that's smarter than me who knows how to get around the databases in the most productive and efficient way please. and please, i need something more constructive than merely a search engine or database. ahhh, my head is bursting.

have already made three trips to kbox after my exams. first with sp alone, second with sp and jy and hx, third with sp and yx. yes everytime, sp is there. haha aren't you sick of me and my voice, sp? lol. but too bad! keke. first trip was a 'new-songs' day where we really hoped to sing jay's new songs, but ahh! they only got nu zai and cai hong. bah. lousy. haha but of course got other new songs lar, like jolin blah blah..second trip was crazy! haha initially a bit sian, but we started getting high on all the old songs, like guo huo! haha we started imitating the mvs! haha hilarious. i must say jy has a talent in this. haha go girl! third trip was 'ah-du' session to me. haha why ah du? lol. especially after the 'dui de ren'! haha tho i forgot much of the song, and was only able to sing bits and pieces, its still high! worst part was i was having a sore throat somemore, so yeah, like expected, my sore throat worsened after the session! especially after eating fried sotong balls, fried mushroom balls, chips, nuts and cold drinks! so yah.. really sounded pretty much like ah du..or maybe donald duck. LOL.
but nevertheless, it was enjoyable. =) thanks to sp, yx, jy and hx for your company!
think i really too long never go shopping le, even a short shopping trip with qi the other day for pressies was fulfilling. we tried on dresses, didn't care if we looked good in them, it's just for the thrill of it! haha. was rather tempted by a pretty one, especially since it was 50% discounted, haha but eventually gave it up for a cute pink panther skirt! haha yes, pink panther! ok lar, it's not pink, don't worry. haha
anyway, spent pretty long trying to decide on one of the pressies..haha eventually decided to take the safer choice. haha, well well. in any case, im praying they'll be happy with their pressies! keke.
im looking forward to tomorrow, even though it's merely a short 3-hour meet-up. =)
even rspid has been fun these two weeks. hehe. my dear trainee happily bought a cake herself so we can celebrate for her. haha cute hor? somemore, it's not cheap lehz, at least not for her lar. hope she liked her pressies! hehe. =) anyway, it was pretty amusing seeing how scared she is of the balloons. haha tried again and again to show her that balloons are not bombs, but she steered cleared of them. haha. so the little balloon doggy and parrot i made for her went wasted. haiz. anyways, my friend says i got balloon sculpturing talent, cos i never scream like her. haha so, yah, maybe if i can't find a job in the banks, i'll head to one of those balloon sculpturists and find a shifu. lol.
been spending time on this forum that organizes sprees for skincare products. ahh, and i've been overspending. gosh, stop all these sprees from organizing. haha my pocket is already no longer a pocket! super big hole! bah...
but i quite enjoy the frequent masking. whether or not it helps my skin is another matter (still important though). haha but masking time became like reading time to me. haha. so, quite shuang. =)
reading memoirs of a geisha lately. alright, im kinda outdated. haha cos everyone in the world seems to have read it already. but anyway, i think some parts of the book quite funny haha. especially the eel and cave thing. those who have read it before will know i think. i literally laughed while reading it. haha but, laugh gui1 laugh, its still a good read. =)
so and watched se, jie with shan tht day. not bad. was worried i might not be able to understand, haha, but turned out to be perfectly ok. haha other than the beginning scene where the four women were playing mahjong and i was rather blur about what in the world they were talking about at that time. haha but after a while it was ok. hehe. anyways, still my first time watching r21. wah, poor girl, new actress jiu must sacrifice so much. anyway, her character really stirred up quite a bit of anger in me, especially with her friends and the guy planning the whole scheme (not leehom). how can they be so insensitive to the girl's feelings. its not like she was born to give up her body, nobody is. you wanna kill the traitor but here you are killing your own friend/partner. it's crazy. and disgusting.
oh well, anyway, after the show, i had a strong urge to read the book so i reserved it in nlb. but haven't go collect hehe. let's see if the book's better. =)
been watching gong zhu xiao mei. not bad except, what's with the craze about wu zhun! argh, i hate his pronounciation. it totally makes the most romantic scene turn out hilarious. i start laughing even though it's a crying scene. NOT GOOD! ok, so, most girls are rebutting furiously, but heck wu zhun lar! lol.
