had an advanced bday celebration with ij clique yest. thanks girLs!!! it was a lovely dinner!! altho at the beginning the service (acty only one waiter) there almost made us qi4 bao4 and qi bao3.
went to new york new york for dinner..acty b4 tht alr heard qt a lot of ermz, not so good comments abt it lar. but we thot aiyah shld still go try it out..plus the ambience really looks very nice from the outside. so queued for really long..jb shan and bern even made a trip to suntec halfway thru to see if there are other restaurants available..eventually got in le. den came a lot of confusion as to where we were supposed to sit. was totally shocked when they brought us to this table tht seemed like it can sit only at most 6 ppl (we had 8). so we told the waiter abt it..and his attitude was really terrible! like so mian qiang liddat..i mean i dont think it was unreasonable of us at all lor. so we ended up standing in the middle of the restaurant for a while..feeling how stupid it is tht they can make customers stand there and wait. things got better when this manager came to talk to us nicely and eventually got us a more comfortable table. then tht same waiter came to take our orders, and went 'can u all say one by one?' in a demanding tone. walaoz..almost wanted to slap him lar. then when we were having cake, we were short of one plate so tht SAME waiter walked past, i raised my hand, he walked away. SAI!!
for those who dont know, i really mind abt service a whole lot. so yah.
but other than tht waiter, all was fantastic!! alright maybe my pasta wasn't to my liking, but all the chit-chatting and catching up with the rest made it all worth it. :P hz never fails to be the entertainer of the group, creating her own little eating 'competitions' again and being the commentator herself. and suggesting to play 'zhong ji mi ma' b4 realising tht eventually the rest of us will he zhuo and she'll lose so she still has to eat her own meal eventually and even suggesting us to count how many ribs we can touch! hahaha the ribs and bra thing really made me laugh like mad. then the cake came and the staff there even made an effort to find out whose bday it is and sing the bday song with the rest of us!! tht's what i call service ok. haha fantastic service in fact. hehe makes me feel gd. then i realised acty it's only tht waiter's prob cos the rest are really nice!! at least they smile when they want to clear the plates and all tht. then came candy-floss making time!! haha hz and ek were enjoying making them while the rest of us were enjoying eating them. haha. love candy-floss!! hehe
yay. but time seemed to pass real fast sia. one dinner so fast over le so hope we can meet up again sooN!!

one dinner really made me feel very shuang. esp when it's been ages since i've gone out to enjoy myself. projects and all are making me crazy! and they're pian pian due next week. argh. here's the shocking news: eileen experienced insomnia this weeK! ahHH!! how is tht possible sia. the last time i had insomnia was in primary 4. hahaha man...first i have too many dreams, then now im having symptoms of insomnia and my back has been aching like nobody's business very often nowadays. im just praying it's nt tht my scoliosis got worse. wont lar hor. not so suay. hahaha
oh well things will get better aft this coming week! cant wait!!!
